Returns Policy


We want you to be happy with your order. You have the statutory right to cancel your order and return your purchase for a refund for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. For your added convenience, Smarter Lives has voluntarily extended this period to 30 days from the receipt of your order. Once we have acknowledged your request to cancel your order, you will have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us.

Please note that goods must be returned in the same condition in which you received them, unused and undamaged. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may return goods that you have opened neatly to inspect. We reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund for any loss of value in the items supplied as a result of handling by you.

Please contact us first at to request a returns authorisation. In the case of a cancellation for an item that is not defective, damaged or incorrect, Smarter Lives will refund the cost of the original order including any postage paid, but not the cost of returning the item to us.



Every item that we sell on the Smarter Lives website has at least a one-year warranty. If you receive a faulty product, or a product that develops a fault within its warranty period, please contact us at

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to Smarter Lives without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We do not offer an exchange, refund, or repair for products that become faulty due to accidental damage, neglect, or misuse. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault before issuing a refund.  If your product develops a verified fault with 30 days of receipt, Smarter Lives will offer you the option of a refund or replacement. After 30 days we will offer a repair or replacement only.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.



The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.



We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
